saucepan.<\/span><br \/><br \/><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In a bowl, make a paste using part of the cornmeal and all the cold water.<\/span><br \/><br \/><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Add the paste to the boiling water.<\/span><br \/><br \/><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Stir with a spoon until the mixture has a thick porridge like texture.<\/span><br \/><br \/><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cover the saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes.<\/span><br \/><br \/><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Turn heat to the lowest setting, remove the
